Decompression Procedures Diver
This course examines the theory, methods and procedures
of planned stage decompression diving. The objective of this
course is to train divers how to plan and conduct a standard
staged decompression dive not exceeding a maximum depth of 45
metres. The most common equipment requirements, gear setups,
decompression techniques and decompression mixtures (including
oxygen and Nitrox) are presented. Students are permitted to utilise
Nitrox mixes or O2 for decompression if the mix is within their
current certification level.
What do I need to start?
Minimum age: 18 years.
Minimum certification of Open Water Diver.
Minimum of 25 open water dives.
